The 15,000+ acre property is situated in Blue Creek, Orange Walk District, Belize. It is the last remaining parcel in this area that is available for sale.

Blue Creek Village is located in northwestern Orange Walk and is settled primarily by a Mennonite community who make their livelihood from carpentry, cattle ranching and agriculture. The Mennonites have also dammed the Rio Bravo which provides hydroelectricity to the area.

The property is accessible through feeder roads from either the north or west of Belize. Plans are underway to further develop a 20’ wide all-season road to enhance the northerly access. Property owners will contribute to road maintenance and upkeep.

The property adjoins two protected areas – on the south by Rio Bravo Conservation and Management Area (the second largest protected area in Belize) and on the west by Aguas Turbias National Park. On the north and east the property is bounded by farmland.

The property lies within the subtropical moist life zone (as per the Holdridge Life Zones Classification System) with terrain suitable for timbering. The owners’ sustainable timber land management plan has been certified by the Government of Belize. This management plan can be adapted to allow buyers to export timber.
